Home of NZART Branch 18

NZART Branch 18 is Lower Hutt's Amateur Radio Club

We are Branch 18 of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters (NZART) and our call-sign is ZL2HV.

Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It's fun, social, and educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need.

Find out more on how to become licensed on the NZART website.

Monthly Meeting: 6 May 2024 7:30PM
This month’s guest speaker is Steve, who will be telling us about a LoRa and LoRa network in and around Wellington.
